How are youuuu? My life is good. Real good. My name is Matthew Addenbrooke and I’m a regular guy with an undying passion for photography. Born and raised in California and my hobbies are photography, music, basketball, videogames and watching kdrama’s.

I am married with two kids, girl and boy who I love to photograph and actually the reason why I got into photography.

My style of photography is more photojournalistic where I like to capture candid moments. Although, I do “pose” people I try to create an authentic atmosphere and moments where I can capture the spirit of the people in front of me. Everyone is different and some may think they are not “photogenic” but the reality is that everyone can have great photos of themselves. It is my job to try and draw out that person’s or that couple’s true essence.

Photography can be very monotonous and boring but I find joy in getting to know the people I meet in this space. You, yes YOU, are interesting to me and whether I am taking pictures of your kids, taking photos for an event or capturing your very special wedding day I make it my duty to try and make your experience with me a memorable and easy one. I would say that I am a hopeless romantic type and if you are getting me to capture your engagement, elopement, wedding day I will more than likely treat my couple like they are in a drama and have them pretend they are in a drama (trust me makes the photos nice). Sidenote: As I said earlier I do have a daughter and I love her to bits…when im capturing father daughter dances at wedding’s and you notice all of a sudden that my eyes are red and I now have my camera eyecup stuck to my face…mind ya business. Just kidding haha. I love watching all the raw emotions when I do my job and it motivates me to do good when I see those things because I want to freeze that time and have you able to cherish that moment for a lifetime and your families lifetime.

I am the head photographer of mediamerge but I do work with a team who I am very particular with to keep the work consistent. So, if you don’t happen to get me as the photographer I do make sure it is someone who shares the same traits as me and who will do just as a good job if not better than me :)

Anyway, this was a lot longer than I intended it to be so thank you for reading this far haha. But I do look forward to meeting and working with you if you give me the chance to capture your day I will make sure to do my best and make it worth your while.
